the hostesses with the mostest :)

Happy Holidays, everyone! Last night Jackie and held our annual holiday party and it was a great success. We saw new friends, old friends, and friends of friends. Grampa's supplied the food as always; preparing a menu of stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was gone!
Party tip: keep food simple! Hand foods are delicious and don't require utensils.
As for clothing...
I obviously am obsessed with my green knit, haha! Keep all holiday attire conservative; nothing too low, nothing too short (except with tights).
There are tons of fun patterned tights out there, go get some!

Last party tip: DON'T OVER DRINK AT YOUR OWN PARTY. Limit yourself. :)

Disney World

In Disney on our 21 hour adventure to hit every park and every Disney "must-see" Jackie wore burgundy pants, a graphic ACDC tee from Henri Girl, a black and white flannel, and a pair of Diba boots. She carried everything in a vintage messenger bag.
Here, in front of Cinderella's Castle, Jen is wearing dark denim shorts from American Eagle, vintage knit sweater, a thick black scarf, and a favorite pair of loafers.
Disney was a blast! We went with our best friend Katie, who is a Disney professional and long time veteran. However, this was the 21 hour day any of us ever did. Next time, I am wearing the most comfortable shoes I own. My feet are so mad at me; this truly was the survival of the fittest.
 Meet Katie!

Accessorize!

Statement pieces are on of the top trends right now. Big necklaces, shoes, bags, and sunglasses
can turn a simple outfit into a knock-out look!

Bold pieces are perfect for holiday parties and new years. Keep your dress simple and vamp
it up with something like this.

If you like a more lady-like look then these colors are perfect.
They are sweet but far from boring! Pretty, pretty!!

Who doesn't love some funky sunglasses. The bigger the frame, the less make-up has to be worn.
This spring try something new, and go for a colored pair! I think I'm going to get
a pink pair. =)

These are WONDERFUL! They are the perfect combo of punk and glamour!!
I can see me wearing them with black patterned tights, and a simple black dress. These shoes are something to be shown off!
happy shopping! xoxo

Good twin, bad twin.

Jen is channeling her inner good girl..like way inner...with hot pink pants, a modest button down and a
tweed jacket. Layered pearls finish this look. Colored jeans give a freshness to your look, and allow you to dress down the top half of your outfit. We found this pair at Marshalls, in fact, this entire look comes from . Marshalls- minus the jewelry. What can we say, mama taught us well.
Happy shopping xoxo

I'm a sucker for a polished grunge look. Not to mention my new obsession-leopard skinnies.
These are possibly the most comfortable pair of pants i own! Bullhead for PacSun did a fantastic job creating a new line of skinnies for their winter collection. The idea is to not over do it with the accessories, but to focus on layering. Channel your inner wild side, and get some animal print pants! =)

Loafer lovin'

This spring its all about shoes. I don't hate it! These white studded loafers by Christian Louboutin
are fresh and exciting. The price is obviously a bit high but there are so many designers and brands that are coming out with their own versions at lower prices, so don't be left behind! =)

These loafer inspired pumps by Tommy Hilfiger are one of my favorite trends for Spring. They are sexy and lady-like and scream perfection! If you plan on only purchasing one pair of pumps for the spring, well ladies, these are them!!!
